After soaring to 40 points the game before, Burney was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 54-6 loss at the hands of the Hayfork Timberjacks. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberjacks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Kyle Noah threw for 125 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes. Killian Biles was his top target, picking up 86 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Levi Cavalli was nothing short of spectacular for Hayfork: he rushed for 198 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Nanez, who rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
