Volleyball Game Preview: Cupertino Pioneers vs. Evergreen Valley Cougars + How To Watch

The Cupertino Pioneers will face off against the Evergreen Valley Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Cupertino came up short against Homestead and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Pioneers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

While Cupertino had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 21-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Evergreen Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Branham on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Evergreen Valley was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Branham work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 26-24, 19-25, 23-25, 15-11.

Cupertino's defeat dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Evergreen Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 17-13.
