Soccer Recap: Montrose Takes a Loss

Montrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Birch Run Panthers.

Montrose's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Birch Run, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8-2.

Looking ahead, Montrose will face off against Ovid-Elsie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Birch Run, they will square off against Pinconning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
