Hardin Northern fell victim to Perry and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Commodores. That makes it the first time this season the Polar Bears have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Cory-Rawson also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 11-0 to Elgin on Wednesday. The Fighting Hornets' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Hardin Northern's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Cory-Rawson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
