Basketball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

If Eastern was feeling good fresh off their 58-19 takedown of Oak Hill on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles received a blow on Friday as they fell 59-44 to the West Union Dragons.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for West Union, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern will head out to take on Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Union, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Whiteoak at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
