Baseball Recap: Parkland Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Parkland's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Del Valle Conquistadores on Wednesday. The Matadors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Parkland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13-1. As for Del Valle, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

While Parkland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
