George West put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Taft Greyhounds to the tune of 69-32. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won seven games by 24 points or more so far this season.

Kohen Blount was his usual excellent self, rushing for 123 yards and four TDs. Blount is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 109 every time he's taken the field this season.

George West's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Taft, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. George West will take on Karnes City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Taft, they will face off against Poth on Thursday. The Greyhounds will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
