Basketball Recap: Carolina Basketball Academy Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Carolina Basketball Academy faced off against Winston Salem Christian National on Wednesday. The Tigers were beaten by the Lions 89-37. The Tigers lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 83-59 score last time.

Nicholas Mclean produced another solid effort putting up 24 points for Winston Salem Christian National. Tim Vallet was another key player, earning 16 points.

Carolina Basketball Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Winston Salem Christian National, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Carolina Basketball Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Forsyth Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Winston Salem Christian National, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 87-61 victory against Bull City Prep National on the 17th.
