It was a proper cat-fight when Granada faced off against Kit Carson on Tuesday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Granada was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-10, 25-16.

Camryn Coleman paced Granada's offense, picking up 14 kills. Coleman got some help from Kinsley Williams and her 34 assists. Williams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Granada's record is now 3-1. As for Kit Carson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granada will venture away from home to take on South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kit Carson, they will head out to square off against Limon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
