Football Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Finds Playoff Glory Versus West Vigo

With a playoff win on the line, Tri-West Hendricks rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on the West Vigo Vikings with a sharp 35-14 victory. Considering the Bruins have won four games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tri-West Hendricks got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Sorgi out in front who threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Sorgi a new career-high in passer rating (155.2). Another receiver making a difference was Carter Cummings, who picked up 111 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Tri-West Hendricks' record is now 7-3. As for West Vigo, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Tri-West Hendricks will square off against Cascade at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins will need to watch out since the Cadets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. West Vigo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
