Vasquez waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 73-29 victory over the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Vasquez was led to victory by Carter Parker and Gavin Battey. Parker went 7 of 9 en route to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals, while Battey went 6 for 7 on his way to 15 points and eight boards. That's the most boards Battey has posted since back in December of 2024. Adam Wyganowski was another key player, putting up ten points and eight rebounds.

Vasquez smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Vasquez is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.2 points per game. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vasquez will venture away from home to take on Santa Clarita Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vasquez is facing Santa Clarita Christian at the right time seeing as Santa Clarita Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they will face off against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
