Softball Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

Scott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Notre Dame Academy Pandas. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Pandas from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Emerson Morman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Jamie Golden was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13-1. As for Notre Dame Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scott will face off against Simon Kenton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will square off against Grant County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
