Beverly has gone 9-1 against Salem recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Witches at 5:30 p.m. Beverly is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Beverly came up short against Peabody Veterans Memorial and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Salem made easy work of Lynn English on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Salem never let Lynn English on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-24, 25-19.

Salem is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Beverly, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Beverly took their victory against Salem in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
