Baseball Game Preview: Scott Bulldogs vs. Rogers Rams

Scott hasn't had much luck against Rogers recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Rams at 5:00 p.m.

Scott can't be too happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season away from home back in April. They lost 19-4 to Rogers.

For Rogers' part, the team relied heavily on Da'Marion Allen-Gabriel, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, four runs, and five RBI. With that strong performance, Allen-Gabriel is now averaging an impressive 1.5 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Olice Frison II, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double.

Rogers always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .757. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Scott might still be hurting after the 19-4 defeat they got from Rogers when the teams last played back in April. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
