Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Academy lost against Rock Springs Christian Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bobcats came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

St. Mary's Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

Leading Rock Springs Christian Academy to victory were Lauren Harrell and Lucy Sowell. Harrell had six aces and three digs, while Sowell had seven aces and two assists. That's the most aces Harrell has posted since back in September of 2024.

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

St. Mary's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against LaGrange Academy on the 12th. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. George's at 5:45 p.m.
