Basketball Recap: Tandem Friends Comes Up Short

Tandem Friends lost against Stuart Hall back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tandem Friends Badgers were beaten by the Stuart Hall Dragons 75-33. While losing is never fun, the Badgers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Dragons are ranked 25th).

When it comes to explaining why Tandem Friends lost, don't look at Sincere Fordham. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points. With that strong performance, Fordham is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Sean Tyler, who put up seven points.

Tandem Friends now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Stuart Hall, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Tandem Friends will head out on the road to face off against Wakefield Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tandem Friends is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season. As for Stuart Hall, they will face off against Harrisonburg HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
