Soccer Recap: Cocke County Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Cocke County and Carter have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Fighting Cocks fell just short of the Green Hornets by a score of 2-1. Cocke County haven't had much luck with Carter recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cocke County's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Carter, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6-1.

Cocke County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carter, they will head out on the road to challenge Seymour at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seymour will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Carter surely won't give up without a fight.
