Paetow better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Katy's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Katy really gets things going. Everything went the Tigers' way against Jordan as they made off with a 38-17 victory. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Warriors are ranked 212th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Tremayne Hill, who rushed for 209 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. He has been hot, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last six times he's played.
