Basketball Game Preview: South Mountain Jaguars vs. Browne Bruins

The South Mountain Jaguars and the Browne Bruins will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. South Mountain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

South Mountain lost 101-79 to Camelback on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (68), the Jaguars still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Browne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 84-54 loss at the hands of Cesar Chavez. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Champions are ranked 62nd).

Browne's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for South Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
