Basketball Recap: Indian River Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sussex Academy last Thursday, Indian River came back down to earth. The Indian River Indians were beaten by the Lake Forest Spartans 60-13 on Thursday. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Indian River's loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lake Forest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Indian River has already played their next game (against Newark Charter School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake Forest will challenge Seaford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
