Central Valley Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 757 points over their last 11 matchups.
Central Valley Academy stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Vernon-Verona-Sherrill 67-47. Given Central Valley Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Vernon-Verona-Sherrill is ranked 585th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
The match pitted two dominant players against one another in Deacon Judd and Eliijah Donegan. Judd had a great game and dropped a double-double on 31 points and 13 rebounds. Meanwhile, Donegan was balling out in the loss, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Waterville's good fortune finally ran out last Sunday. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clinton.
Central Valley Academy pushed their record up to 10-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Waterville, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
