Softball Recap: Maple Shade Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Maple Shade challenged Medford Tech on Monday. The Wildcats took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 10-2.

Madeline Sylvia and Isabella Adams did some serious damage despite the final result: Sylvia got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run, while Adams went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Alexis Reichelt, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Maple Shade and nudges their season record down to 13-7. As for Medford Tech, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3.

As of now, neither Maple Shade nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
