Volleyball Recap: Cornell Chiefs vs. Flambeau Falcons

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Cornell and Flambeau have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Chiefs lost 3-0 to the Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Cornell was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Ishani Foulk and Brookelyn Baker, who picked up four kills apiece. Foulk really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with five. Mariah Meeler controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
