Basketball Recap: Brewster Academy National Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with AZ Compass Prep National

Brewster Academy National is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of AZ Compass Prep National. The Bobcats fell 67-55 to the Dragons. The loss was the Bobcats' first of the season.

AZ Compass Prep National had a senior duo take command as Kalek House dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds and Kaden House went 6-for-10 on his way to 18 points and seven boards. Kaden's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. DeMarcus Henry was another key player, putting up five points along with nine boards and six assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Brewster Academy National fell to 12-1. As for AZ Compass Prep National, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Brewster Academy National will take on Varsity Opponent in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for AZ Compass Prep National, they will be home for the holidays to greet Sequoia Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
