Norfolk Christian takes loss despite strong efforts from Jalen Freeman and Brandon Giddens

Recap: Norfolk Christian Ambassadors vs. Western Branch Bruins
The Norfolk Christian Ambassadors lost against the Western Branch Bruins back in November of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Norfolk Christian took a serious blow against Western Branch, falling 90-31. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Norfolk Christian has scored all season.
Brandon Giddens and Jalen Freeman certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Giddens scored seven points, while Freeman scored eight points. Giddens is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played.
Norfolk Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Western Branch, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Norfolk Christian will head out on the road to face off against StoneBridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. StoneBridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Norfolk Christian is ranked 61st). Western Branch will be home for the holidays to greet Lakeland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lakeland is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
