There's no place like home for Shepard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tinley Park Titans on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Astros, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Shepard didn't let Tinley Park take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-23.

Shepard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Tinley Park, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
