Preview: Linden vs. Pacheco
The Linden Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Pacheco Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Linden was the victim of a rough 6-2 defeat at the hands of Weston Ranch. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Linden was already down 3-0.
Meanwhile, Pacheco's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged Los Banos out 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pacheco.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Samuel Pinal and
Bryan Reyes, who scored both of Pacheco's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 15 so far this season.
Linden's loss dropped their record down to 11-6-5. As for Pacheco, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4-2 record this season.
