Baseball Recap: Drew Central Comes Up Short

Drew Central entered their matchup against Rison on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pirates fell 4-1 to the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-0 loss back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Drew Central and nudges their season record down to 5-9. As for Rison, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Coming up, Drew Central will challenge Hampton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rison, they will be playing at home against Glen Rose at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
