Volleyball Recap: Triopia/Virginia Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Triopia/Virginia can now relate to. They fell just short of the Augusta Southeastern Suns by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Suns: they've now lost eight in a row.

Triopia/Virginia's loss dropped their record down to 27-11. As for Augusta Southeastern, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Triopia/Virginia nor Augusta Southeastern have any future games scheduled.
