Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bluffton). They claimed a resounding 55-12 victory over the Colleton County Cougars. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.

Aedan McCarthy continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 404 yards and six TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also punching in one touchdown on the ground. Bluffton is undefeated when McCarthy posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. The Bobcats' leading receiver Carnell Warren was McCarthy's top target yet again, picking up 107 receiving yards and three scores.

Bluffton's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Colleton County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bluffton is set to square off against their familiar foe Bishop England at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: McCarthy and Quinn Mahoney. Meanwhile, Colleton County will take on rival Hilton Head Island at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
