Basketball Recap: Ashley Takes a Loss

Ashley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Countryside Academy Cougar, falling 60-26.

Ashley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Countryside Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Ashley and Countryside Academy will both be playing Varsity Opponent the next time they take the court. The Cougar will host Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bears will head out to face them on Saturday.
