Recap: Tamarac Bengals vs. Stillwater Warriors

The Tamarac Bengals were the 81-61 winner over the Stillwater Warriors when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Tamarac suffered a rough 70-47 loss at the hands of Stillwater on Tuesday. Tamarac has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tamarac's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jacob Price, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and four blocks, and Kamerin Edmonds who scored 14 points along with five assists. Edmonds scored a full 29.8% of Tamarac's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Sam Kuiken was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Tamarac's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Stillwater, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Tamarac will head out on the road to face off against Waterford-Halfmoon at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Waterford-Halfmoon: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Tamarac has snatched up ten consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season. Stillwater will be home for the holidays to greet Saratoga Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Saratoga Central Catholic's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
