Recap: Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders vs. Urbana University Illineks
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tuscola, the Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took down Urbana University 50-32. Arthur-Okaw Christian pushed the score to 47-22 by the end of the third, a deficit Urbana University cut but never quite recovered from.
It was another big night for Kyson Pflum, who scored 19 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of James Lee, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Arthur-Okaw Christian pushed their record up to 16-10 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Urbana University, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.
Arthur-Okaw Christian will head out on the road to square off against Cornerstone Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Urbana University, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Judah Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
