             Billingsley is 0-7 against Maplesville since August of 2015 but things could change  on Friday. The Bears are taking a road trip to  square off against the Red Devils  at 7:00  p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Billingsley's defense heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They blew past Ellwood Christian 40-0. The  contest marked the Bears' most dominant  win of the  season.

 Kyle Boice produced another solid  performance rushing for 70 yards and a pair of  TDs on only five carries, while also throwing for 136 yards and three  touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. 115 of  Boice's passing yards were hauled in by Jaylen Cutler, who also brought in two  receiving touchdowns.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Billingsley was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 262  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 158  rushing yards in 13 consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
 Billingsley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Dequavion Ray and  Cutler.  Caleb Massey was another major factor on D,  making 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile, Maplesville put another one in the bag  last Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Holtville for the full four quarters, racking up  a  52-14 victory. The  matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  35-0.
 Maplesville's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Billingsley,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
 Billingsley took a serious blow against Maplesville  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024, falling  57-14. Can the Bears avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
