Maxwell Hawkins Delivers Electric Effort Vs Newton Falls

Maxwell Hawkins's big game helped extend Crestview's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Hawkins as he rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

Hawkins might have his next game, a home matchup with Champion, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Hawkins saw the Golden Flashes), he rushed for 206 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry.

On Friday, Garfield got the W thanks in part to Brandyn Bogucki playing the best football he has all season. Bogucki made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended two passes.
