Basketball Game Preview: Haddon Township Hawks vs. Nottingham Northstars

The Haddon Township Hawks will challenge the Nottingham Northstars at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Haddon Township will be strutting in after a victory while Nottingham will be coming in after a loss.

Haddon Township will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Haddonfield, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Haddon Township secured a 49-45 W over Haddonfield on Thursday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Hawks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Bulldawgs are ranked 49th).

Meanwhile, Nottingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 65-51 to Notre Dame.

Haddon Township has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.1 points per game. As for Nottingham, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
