Volleyball Recap: Colby Find Success

The Colby Hornets had just enough and edged out the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers 2-1 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Brynn Polivka paced Colby's offense, picking up ten kills. Polivka got some help from Zoe Kaiser and her 18 assists. Daelyn Rieck controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Colby now has a winning record of 6-5. As for St. Mary's Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Colby didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Stanley-Boyd on the 6th. St. Mary's Springs has also already played their next game (against Assumption), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
