Carter Kvols commands the offense for Bears win

Recap: Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears vs. Wisner-Pilger Gators

The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 63-45 victory over Wisner-Pilger on Thursday. The victory was just what Laurel-Concord-Coleridge needed coming off of a 57-33 defeat in their prior game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Laurel-Concord-Coleridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carter Kvols, who scored 16 points along with three steals. It was the first time this season that Kvols scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Olson, who scored 11 points along with five steals.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Wisner-Pilger, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hartington-Newcastle at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. As for Wisner-Pilger, they will square off against Madison on Friday.
