Football Game Preview: Bethlehem Center Bulldogs vs. West Greene Pioneers

The Bethlehem Center Bulldogs will head out to challenge the West Greene Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bethlehem Center has given up an average of 28.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Bethlehem Center after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They were dealt a 38-3 loss at the hands of California. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost six in a row.

Even if they lost, Bethlehem Center's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Homer Headlee, Teagan Veatch, and Wes Bebout, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, West Greene lost to Carmichaels at home by a 28-14 margin on Friday.

Bethlehem Center will have to contain Joel Rizor as he made an impact in West Greene's last game. He rushed for 226 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.

Bethlehem Center's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for West Greene, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Bethlehem Center couldn't quite get it done against West Greene in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 29-22. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
