Tupelo had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Southaven on Thursday. The Golden Wave's defense stepped up to hand the Chargers a 4-0 shutout. Tupelo might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Southaven with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from AJ Hatch (2), Trace Wilson, and Reid Browning.

Tupelo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests.
