Basketball Game Preview: Little River Redskins vs. Larned Indians

The Little River Redskins will head out to face off against the Larned Indians at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Little River's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Little River saw some tournament action on Monday. They walked away with a 55-44 win over Cimarron. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Redskins' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Bluejays are ranked 248th).

Meanwhile, Larned sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-39 victory over Inman on Monday.

Larned's record now sits at 5-7. As for Little River, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Little River came out on top in a nail-biter against Larned in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, sneaking past 45-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redskins since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
