Baseball Game Preview: Waynesville Tigers vs. Glendale Falcons

Waynesville is 0-8 against Glendale since April of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will challenge the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Waynesville is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Monday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of St. James.

Waynesville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Zuber, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of Rock Bridge by a score of 4-3.

Waynesville's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Glendale, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Waynesville suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Glendale in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
