Basketball Recap: DMLK Comes Up Short

After soaring to 58 points the game before, DMLK was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Bruce Randolph Grizzlies, falling 52-13. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tay Hugley, who posted eight points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Ashley Rodriguez, who put up two points and five steals.

DMLK's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Bruce Randolph, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DMLK will host Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something DMLK surely won't give up without a fight. Bruce Randolph has already played their next contest (against DSST: Cedar), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
