Academy of Notre Dame had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Nashoba Valley Tech on Wednesday. The Lancers blew past the Vikings 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won eight in a row.

While Academy of Notre Dame won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 27-25.

Arianny Kingsley paced Academy of Notre Dame's offense, picking up four kills. Kingsley really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. Grace Logan controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Academy of Notre Dame picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-9. As for Nashoba Valley Tech, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
