Basketball Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

Orange managed to slip by Beaumont School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions were beaten by the Blue Streaks 42-14 on Saturday.

Maria Goske continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Beaumont School, going 8-for-12 en route to 23 points and six steals. What's more, Goske also posted a 67% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in January. Another player making a difference was Claire Reavis, who posted six points.

Orange now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Beaumont School, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange will host Harvey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Beaumont School, they will be playing at home against Maple Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
