Softball Recap: Winterset Takes a Loss

Winterset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Interstate 35 Roadrunners. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 7-6 to the Roadrunners when the teams met back in June of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Winterset's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Interstate 35, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

When Winterset and Interstate 35 next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Huskies will try to stop Dallas Center-Grimes' three-game winning streak when they meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Interstate 35 will square off against Des Moines Christian and their three-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
