Basketball Recap: Germantown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Germantown lost against Wisconsin Lutheran back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warhawks received a blow as they fell 72-57 to the Vikings.

When it comes to explaining why Germantown lost, don't look at Teigan Stuve. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Avery O'Brien was another key player, going 5-for-12 on her way to 16 points.

Kaelyn Nommensen had another great game (as she tends to do), dropping a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds for Wisconsin Lutheran. Thanks to that strong game, Nommensen now owns an excellent 50% field goal percentage. Londyn Hollins also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Germantown now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Germantown and Wisconsin Lutheran will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warhawks are set to square off against their familiar foe Wauwatosa East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wisconsin Lutheran will take on rival Pius XI Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
