Soccer Recap: North East Comes Up Short

After flying high against Conneaut Area on Monday, North East came back down to earth. The Grape Pickers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titusville Rockets on Wednesday. North East were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Titusville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

North East's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-10. As for Titusville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

North East will head out on the road to face off against Cambridge Springs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Titusville, they will square off against Conneaut Area at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
