Softball Recap: Ursuline Snaps 13-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Ursuline faced Clarkstown South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Koalas fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Koalas couldn't push the score so high this time.

Ursuline's loss ended a 13-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-3. As for Clarkstown South, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

Ursuline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clarkstown South, they will face off against Harrison at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
