Volleyball Recap: Catholic Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Catholic Central lost against Living Word Lutheran back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hilltoppers came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 3-0. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-5.

Catholic Central's offense was headlined by Karley Loos and Macklin Wilson, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Averie Calkins and her eight assists.

Catholic Central's record now sits at 3-17. As for Living Word Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 22-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Catholic Central will venture away from home to challenge Lodi at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Living Word Lutheran, they will take on Shoreland Lutheran at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
